End-to-End Project Leadership
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery (planning through closeout) for ISP projects
- Ensure success across scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets
- Develop execution strategies, project plans, and resource allocation models
- Define and validate technical scope and equipment specifications
- Review engineering documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
- Manage instrumentation systems including:
- Valves, transmitters, analyzers
- Control systems and process equipment
- Critical manufacturing components
- Own procurement strategy and execution, including:
- RFQs, vendor selection, and bid analysis
- Contract negotiations and purchase order management
- Partner with suppliers to ensure spec accuracy, lead times, and quality standards
- Track equipment lifecycle from fabrication through delivery and installation
- Serve as the primary client-facing project leader
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and vendors
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and performance tracking
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost impacts
- Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and quality standards
- Drive improvements in project delivery and procurement processes
- Mentor junior project staff
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline (preferred)
- 9+ years of experience in project management for instrumentation, industrial equipment, or process systems
- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation
- Proven experience with:
- Vendor coordination and procurement processes
- Complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries strongly preferred
- Managing high-impact, technically complex projects
- Direct involvement with instrumentation and critical process equipment
