Job Description
This role is an IT Support Engineer working within a multinational life science manufacturing environment in Munster, Ireland.
- Responsible for IT Systems delivery as part of ongoing LifeCycle Management process.
- This candidate will be required to work closely with the IT and LifeCycle Management teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of systems.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Assistance to Project team with implementation, installing and troubleshooting existing and new systems
- Working with global teams and external vendors to provide solutions for business
- Adhering to company standards when designing and implementing solutions for business
- Liaison with other cross functional teams to ensure deliverables meet project requirements
- Ensure adherence with standards, following business processes in the execution and support of Automation systems
- Managing relevant documentation required by project
- Participate in daily Tier calls, taking responsibility to collaborate with customers to address daily operational issues in the PLC and automation space
- Follow project schedules and document trackers to assist in the management and control of project deliverables.
- Liaise with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties to ensure clear communication between all parties in relation to IT requirements
- Comply with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions.
- Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture
Requirements
Core Competencies (Technical):
- The following experience would be advantageous; Active Directory, Single Sign On, Server DatabaseNetwork Administration, Desktop & Server Virtualization, Cloud Technologies
- Some knowledge of Computer System Development Lifecycle is preferred
- Some knowledge of automation systems (PLC/Scada/BMS) is preferred
- Good understanding of IT networks (subnets, firewalls)
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job related computer applications required
- Prior experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical industry is desirable
- Must have a valid EU Work Permit and Irish Residency.

Qualifications:
