PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions serving the Life Sciences sector, is seeking a Competitive Continuous Improvement (CCI) Coach for its Puerto Rico office. This role is key in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The CCI Coach will partner with teams at all levels to implement Lean tools and strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase team engagement. The role also involves leading improvement projects, providing Lean coaching, supporting productivity planning, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Lean Coaching & Deployment:
  • Train and coach leaders and teams on Lean tools and practices
  • Support Lean implementation in various areas and ensure sustainability
  • Track progress and celebrate success
  • Provide ongoing guidance to new and experienced Lean Coaches
Lead Improvement Projects:
  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, A3s, and Lighthouse projects
  • Ensure change management and follow-up plans are in place
  • Solve problems and guide teams toward practical solutions
Productivity Portfolio Management:
  • Help define productivity goals and financial benefits
  • Track progress and support initiative planning
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to ensure results
Promote Operational Excellence:
  • Facilitate team reflections and After Action Reviews
  • Support Lean standards across the site (MSOE)
  • Benchmark and share best practices across teams
Additional Support:
  • Assist with strategic planning and business assessments
  • Manage or support high-impact projects
  • Stay current on required training and Lean certification

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s  degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
  • Lean Coach Certification
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and improvement initiatives
Desired Hard Skills:
  • Experience with Lean tools (A3, VSM, Kaizen, etc.)

Desired Soft Skills:
  • High skill in written communication
  • Excellent organization, communication, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Able to work well in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Analytical thinker with strong decision-making abilities
  • Comfortable leading workshops and facilitating meetings.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
