As a Control Panel Designer, you will be responsible for designing electrical control panels, creating detailed schematics, and ensuring all systems meet industry standards and client requirements. Position Overview:
As a Control Panel Designer, you will be responsible for designing electrical control panels, creating detailed schematics, and ensuring all systems meet industry standards and client requirements. This position requires an in-depth understanding of electrical design principles, control systems, and a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality designs for our clients
Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Design electrical control panels, including layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet client specifications and project timelines.
- Perform load calculations, component selection, and circuit analysis for control systems.
- Ensure that all designs comply with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) to create detailed drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure the correct assembly of control panels.
- Modify existing designs as needed for system upgrades or client-driven changes.
- Maintain accurate and organized design documentation for future reference.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Control Panel Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong knowledge of control systems, electrical components, and wiring standards.
- Familiarity with electrical codes (e.g., NEC, UL) and safety standards.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, relays, circuit breakers, and other control panel components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with industrial control systems.
- Result-driven and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and presentation).
- Organized, with strong computer literacy, such as MS Project, Excel, etc.
Compensation:
- Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation, sick, and company holidays.
- PTO is earned on an accrual basis throughout the calendar year.

- PACIV pays 90% of the premium for the health insurance plan. Monthly contributions made by PACIV and are distributed through an HSA (Health Savings Account).
