We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Indianapolis, IN team and lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving industrial equipment, process instrumentation, and engineered systems.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Leadership
Lead full project lifecycle delivery (planning through closeout) for ISP projects
Ensure success across scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets
Develop execution strategies, project plans, and resource allocation models
Technical & Engineering Oversight
Define and validate technical scope and equipment specifications
Review engineering documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
Manage instrumentation systems including:
Valves, transmitters, analyzers
Control systems and process equipment
Critical manufacturing components
Procurement & Vendor Management
Own procurement strategy and execution, including:
RFQs, vendor selection, and bid analysis
Contract negotiations and purchase order management
Partner with suppliers to ensure spec accuracy, lead times, and quality standards
Track equipment lifecycle from fabrication through delivery and installation
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Serve as the primary client-facing project leader
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and vendors
Lead project meetings, reporting, and performance tracking
Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost impacts
Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and quality standards
Drive improvements in project delivery and procurement processes
Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor junior project staff
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline (preferred)
9+ years of experience in project management for instrumentation, industrial equipment, or process systems
Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation
Proven experience with:
Vendor coordination and procurement processes
Complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries strongly preferred
