Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist in Indianapolis, IN to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This position plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency to support engineering and project execution. This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring experience in logistics, inventory management, and ERP/WMS systems.
Verify inbound shipments for accuracy, condition, and documentation compliance
Process transactions using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system integrity
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipment issues
Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits
Ensure proper material handling, labeling, and storage standards
Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and internal teams to resolve material issues
Prepare materials to support engineering and project teams
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations
Minimum 4+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience
Experience using ERP systems or WMS platforms required
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices
Ability to lift and move materials up to 55 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or automation environments
