Our Automation Technicians play a vital role in the installation, testing, and maintenance of our automation systems. Working with control panels, wiring, and diagnostic equipment to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. This hands-on position interprets schematics, troubleshooting issues, and supporting engineers during system commissioning at our customer sites.

Our Automation Technicians play a vital role in the installation, testing, and maintenance of our automation systems. Working with control panels, wiring, and diagnostic equipment to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. This hands-on position interprets schematics, troubleshooting issues, and supporting engineers during system commissioning at our customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks including wire terminations, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation equipment
- Interpret schematics and diagrams accurately
- Use diagnostic tools and computer-supported software for testing and configuration.
- Support engineers during PLC system testing and commissioning
- Create service reports, calibration documentation, and track time and materials
- Travel to customer sites as needed to perform hands-on service
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and observe company safety standards and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in electrical or automation fields are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years experience in commissioning control systems, wiring control panels, and working with industrial automation components.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various environments
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment for installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related automation technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, willingness to travel to customer sites as required
