PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions servicing the Life Sciences sector, is looking for an OT Lab Benchtop Support Specialist to support laboratory systems and instrumentation as part of a technology modernization initiative. This role will focus on deploying, configuring, and maintaining laboratory computers connected to analytical instruments and chromatography data systems while ensuring cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance within regulated laboratory environments.

- Configure and deploy laboratory benchtop computers used with analytical instruments and lab systems.
- Install and maintain operating systems, system images, and security lockdown configurations.
- Support hardware and software installation for laboratory workstations and instrument computers.
- Integrate new instrument computers into the laboratory network environment.
- Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning of laboratory systems.
- Install and manage software patches, upgrades, and security updates.
- Provide application support for laboratory systems, including maintenance and enhancements.
- Configure and maintain application security parameters and user access controls.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and technical teams during system implementations and upgrades.
- Generate system performance and cybersecurity metrics reports.
- Support validation and documentation activities when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting laboratory instrumentation computers or lab IT systems.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, system imaging, and endpoint configuration.
- Experience with software patching, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in regulated laboratory environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) or instrument integration.
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) environments supporting laboratory systems.
- Experience with computer system validation (CSV) or regulated system lifecycle processes.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices for laboratory or instrument-connected systems.
