Own Critical DeltaV Systems in a GMP Manufacturing Environment

We are looking for a DeltaV Batch Automation & Controls Engineer to support and enhance automation systems used in biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on Emerson DeltaV DCS and DeltaV Batch systems supporting live production. You will work on systems that directly affect manufacturing performance, compliance, and reliability.

If you have strong DeltaV Batch experience and enjoy solving real production challenges, this role offers ownership, stability, and meaningful technical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and support Emerson DeltaV DCS and DeltaV Batch systems
  • Develop and maintain batch recipes using ISA-88 standards (phases, modules, equipment models)
  • Support GMP manufacturing operations and troubleshoot live production systems
  • Lead and support automation projects including upgrades, migrations, and expansions
  • Collaborate with Validation to ensure compliance with cGMP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11
  • Integrate DeltaV with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and OSI PI
  • Review and develop automation documentation (URS, FS, DS, P&IDs)
  • Drive system improvements for performance, reliability, and maintainability

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience (including DeltaV Batch)
  • Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch control principles
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and support production-critical automation systems

Preferred Experience
  • Allen-Bradley ControlLogix
  • HMI/SCADA systems (iFIX or similar)
  • Foundation Fieldbus or DeviceNet
  • System migrations or legacy system remediation
