Job Description
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, United States and Puerto Rico, and servicing the Life Sciences, F&B and Utilities industries, is looking for regular employment-based Automation Engineer(s) for its Ireland office.
Job Description:
- Define, develop and deploy automation.
- Take leadership during the entire life cycle of automation projects, from concept to feasibility and from design and test to production.
- Develop automation User requirements and specifications.
- Solicit quotations from automation suppliers. Evaluate supplier quotations to determine the best combination of technical solution, cost and timing.
- Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them.
- Conduct equipment design reviews and provide design guidance to suppliers.

- Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects.
- Provide on-site support during machine build, debug and testing/qualification.
- Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met.
- Draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance procedures, cGMP,
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
- Open to travel to support development, FAT and other activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL:
- Third Level Qualification in Automation, IT Systems, Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.
- Experience with Rockwell ,Siemens,SCADAplatforms and other PLC systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
- Experience of working within a regulated lifescience manufacturing environment.
- Must have a valid EU Work Permit
